About Us

Angie Arlia is a person with too much time on her hands. She's often wondering why people do what they do and what makes them tick. She's also baffled by why people don't speak and write correctly. In her spare time, she loves to read, watch movies, write letters, spend time with her dog, Bonnette, and re-enact scenes of misunderstanding reminiscent of 'I Love Lucy' fame with her Mexican husband, Guillermo.

Holly Beal enjoys doing anything in the kitchen except chopping onions. She is an avid reader and writer, and likes to do 'creative things' like make up new recipes in her spare time. She currently lives in Virginia with her husband and three children.

Rachel Morrissey is a cynical optimist, who is trying to correct years of wasted time and finally going back to school.  She likes to act, write, read, cook, ruminate, and tell stories about everything. She thought about getting a dog, but scared it would force her into adulthood, she got an aloe vera plant instead. After it died of neglect, she was glad she opted for the plant.

Marni Myers is consultant by day, student by night, favorite aunt on the weekends, and a writer when she's not doing anything else.  She loves world travel, hosting dinner parties, cycling the trails around Washington, DC, sleeping, and shopping at Target (who doesn't?).  Marni dreams of one day telling the stories of those she meets doing international aid work, however since she doesn't even like camping, she's willing to settle for being a travel writer for Conde Nast Traveler magazine.
