've been trying to plan a weekend roadtrip with some of my girlfriends for the past two months, to no avail. This person has to work, that person already has plans on the weekend proposed, a third person is on a tight budget and can't afford to take any trips right now. Why do I persist in trying to arrange this one-on-one time with my female friends? What it is about being with other women that we look forward to, that rejuvenates and even entertains us?
This month our theme is Womanhood. We're talking about what it means to be a woman, which women have influenced our lives, and the unexpected experiences we've had in our roles as women. Although most of our readers are women, we hope our male followers will also see something of the women they know in the insightful articles in this issue.
In addition to exploring the topic of Womanhood, we also bring you our fabulous regular features: the Grammarian, the Sassy Chef, and of course the Top 31 List.
Call your best girlfriends and click through this issue together.
